John Lennon, NYC, 1972 – Smashbox Print

© Alec Byrne

In late 2012, the first exhibition of Alec’s rock and roll archive, “Rock & Roll Time Capsule,” was presented for one-night-only at Smashbox Studios in Culver City. Still skeptical that anyone would be interested in the images, Alec planned to stop by briefly with friends visiting from out of town, just to make an appearance, and then head to dinner. Over 1,000 people attended over the course of the evening, and Alec ended up spending hours speaking with new fans of his work. Dinner became a trip to In-n-Out on the way home. Aside from one print from this series, which was acquired by an east coast museum, these 20×24 archival pigment prints have been previously unavailable for purchase.

Approx. 20×24 archival pigment print with archival mat and black wood frame.
